Czytam sobie właśnie "Wynajętą narzeczoną" i nie porywa mnie ta książka za bardzo. Jakoś tak bez szału. Ta sprawa niby kryminalna też dziwna. Pewnie doczytam, ale raczej nie będę już wracać.

Jest to możliwe, ale nawet jeżeli tak, to teraz nic już nie pamiętam. Miałam kilkuletnią przerwę w wypożyczaniu książek i czytaniu romansów. Co możecie mi polecić?

Will you ever finish the Ladies of Lantern Street and the Copper Beach series?

Thanks for your interest in Lantern Street and Copper Beach. I'm so glad so many of you enjoyed those stories. I apologize for having introduced a third character into each of these two very short series. All I can say is that it seemed like a good idea at the time. I had planned to get around to writing a third book in each series but my writing went off in new directions in both my Amanda Quick and Jayne Ann Krentz worlds. As a writer I'm always chasing the next bright, sparkly object — uh, plot idea — that catches my eye. I promise you that I will do my best not to set up any more unfinished trilogies. In fact, I can tell you with absolute certainty that my new Jayne Ann Krentz trilogy featuring the sons of Anson Salinas is complete! I know this because I finished the third book, UNTOUCHABLE. It will be out in early January and is available for pre-pre-order now. (The first two books in the trilogy are: WHEN ALL THE GIRLS HAVE GONE and PROMISE NOT TO TELL).

Jestem w trakcie Jej ostatni obraz, ale mnie nie porywa :bezradny:

męczę ją już kilka dni, a dziś nawet nie skupiałam się na tekście. Chyba mam już dość "krentzowskiego" schematu. Do tej pory byłam jej wielką fanką, ale ostatnie współczesne książki były po prostu słabe.

Mam deja vu z Mężczyzny ze snu ze względu na profesje bohaterów. On manipuluje snami, by rozwiązać morderstwa, a ona jest analitykiem snów i mu pomaga.
