Sue Civil-Brown has been writing romantic stories since childhood.

Now, having published two dozen books under the pen name Rachel Lee and won numerous awards, she is delighted to turn her attention to the light-hearted and humorous in love and life.

Sue lives with her own knight in shining armor on Florida's Gulf Coast, where the weather provides almost as much excitement as her dearly beloved, their children, and their Siberian husky.

Czytałam tylko Do ostatniego tchu. Reklamowali jako "jak Nora Roberts", więc zakupiłam. Po przeczytaniu zaraz sprzedałam. Nie było złe, ale jakoś nie przypadło mi do gustu.

A ja tylko "Przebudzenie". I też od razu sprzedałam. Zrobiłam tak w czasach, gdy jeszcze nie sprzedawałam książek.
Było całkowicie i maksymalnie nudne.
Blurb miało śliczny. Obiecywało przygodę. Niedotrzymało obietnicy.

Pechowo się złożyło, że mam ją także po niemiecku i powinnam się też jej jakoś pozbyć, żeby mnie w oczy nie kłuła.

Ja jestem świeżo po przeczytaniu Przebudzenia i mam wrażenia identyczne jak Janka. Zapowiadało się ciekawie, a było nudno - raz mniej raz bardziej, ale właściwie ciągle Bohaterowie nieciekawi i ogólnie mdło i nijako. Całe szczęście, że to była książka z biblioteki

Rachel Lee to jakiś fenomen - nikt jej książek nie lubi, a ktoś jednak kupuje, skoro ciągle wydają następne.

Ma świetne nazwisko. Bardzo przyciąga. Nadaje się do wydawania bestsellerów.
No ale to przecież nie wystarczy, żeby naprawdę coś sprzedać.

Zastanawiam się nad tym od lat i niczego nadal nie wymysliłam.

Mnie to też zastanawia - tak w ogóle to ciekawe zjawisko.

Byłam zaskoczona, że ona tak wiele tego napisała, bo o ile pamięć mnie nie myli, to w bibliotece są dwie książki Rachel Lee i chyba coś Sue Civil-Brown. Jako Rachel Lee nie była tragiczna, bo źle mi się nie kojarzy, z kolei już Sue Civil-Brown z nudą.

Czytałam większość jej książek wydanych u nas, ale nie byłam zachwycona . Jedynie pamiętam, że "Mistrzowska zagrywka" spodobała mi się, a reszta przeczytana i zapomniana.

To bardzo dobre rozwiązanie, że pani Lee wydaje harlequiny.
Nie chcę jej nowych powieści.
Harlequinów też nie chcę, ale skoro nadal ma ten zawód, to niech przynajmniej wydaje same harlequiny.

Przypomniało mi się, że miałam jej dać drugą szansę i kupiłam następną książkę do przeczytania.
No to słowo się rzekło, muszę wyszukać i do niej zajrzeć.

Chciałam ją kupić, ale szukałam na Allegro pod złym nazwiskiem. Dopiero teraz do mnie dotarło, że ta akurat wydana była jako Sue Civil-Brown.

Tak mi się wydawało, ale pomyliło mi się z Michelle Martin i nie byłam pewna.
