Karen Marie Moning is an American writer. She is a New York Times bestselling author of 12 novels, including the RITA award-winning Highlander novels and the internationally bestselling urban fantasy "Fever" series. Her books have been published in twenty-four languages, and her events draw fans from all over the world. She lives in south Florida where she is currently working on additional books in the Fever world as well as an original graphic novel featuring MacKayla Lane and Jericho Barrons.

Moning graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Society and Law. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as a bartender, a computer consultant, and an insurance specialist.

Moning began her career writing paranormal romance set in Scotland. In the course of writing the Highlander series, however, she became increasingly fascinated with Celtic mythology (especially the legends about the Fae), so she switched to the urban fantasy genre in her Fever series so she could focus on the Tuatha Dé Danann — an ancient race of immortal beings who have lived secretly among humans for millennia.

Moning is currently completing a graphic novel for Del Rey, featuring an original story about MacKayla Lane and Jericho Barrons, and has contracted with Random House Publishing Group for five more books set in the Fever universe: the first three (known as the Fever World series) are set to feature Dani O'Malley and other secondary characters from the Fever series, while the other two books are expected to resume the story of MacKayla Lane, Jerricho Barrons, V'lane, the Unseelie King and his concubine.

She divides her time between the mountains of Georgia and the beaches of Florida.

To jest jedna opowieść, o tych samych bohaterach tylko podzielona. Niestety, bo wciąga strasznie, a tomy są krótkie.

Czy to ciągła historia jak Fever czy każdy tom o innym bohaterze?

O innym bohaterze, ale elfy występują.
Pierwszy tom to średniowiecze z współczesnością. Zły elf, Adam Black, przenosi bohaterkę z 1997 roku do 1513 roku.
W następnych częściach Adam knuje dalej, ale z innymi bohaterami.
Na razie czytałam pierwszy tom (opisy następnych), można się popłakać ze współczucia dla bohatera. Pisałam już o tym.
